Security Guard - Third Shift Job in Naperville, Illinois

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Patrol Access Control in Naperville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier entertainment and hospitality location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with guests and team members, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout guest areas, recreational venues, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with direction, crowd-flow concerns, and adherence to property policies.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
