What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a defense-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance issues that could affect daily operations.
- Support Allied Universal and site leadership by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of post orders, and following established procedures for incidents, emergencies, and/or operational disruptions.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
