As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Badge Verification in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, critical infrastructure areas, and perimeter locations; document observations and report unusual conditions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as authorized, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.
- Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
