Security Officer Route Patrol - Weekends

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations with professionalism. - Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control duties, and appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and public-facing spaces while verifying credentials, screening access, and reporting unauthorized persons or policy violations.
- Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating clearly with supervisors, public agencies, and/or onsite contacts during routine operations, incidents, and special situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
