Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in New Albany, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a leading tech location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. This is a driving post. You will also support access activity and deliver outstanding customer service while working with an agile, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, badge and access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, exterior areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and support visitor management processes in accordance with post orders and other security-related policies.
- Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol findings, and daily activities, and support Allied Universal leadership with requested updates and/or follow-up information.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
