What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, prioritizing the well-being of individuals within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or potential hazards encountered during patrols or while on duty.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site leadership regarding incidents, emergencies, or required follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and emergency services personnel as needed, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner, following Allied Universal and location-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
