Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
- Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes understanding how to issue, revoke, and manage access credentials for employees and visitors.
Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
- Familiarity with alarm panel systems is essential. Candidates must be able to operate, troubleshoot, and respond to alarm systems effectively, ensuring the safety and security of the premises.
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
- Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required. Candidates should be comfortable navigating various software applications, including email, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools necessary for daily operations.
Customer Service Experience (B219)
- A strong background in customer service is crucial. Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and colleagues.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
- Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries as directed, documenting irregularities and escalating concerns through established channels.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
