As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a major food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and managing badge access. You will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the facility, providing a welcoming presence and exceptional customer service. Your role is essential in maintaining a secure environment, and you will use your communication skills and experience with technology to support daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security-related protocols on site.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any irregularities, with consideration to the food and beverage environment.
• Maintain detailed records of access control activities and report observations according to Allied Universal policies.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors to promote a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
