As a Security Officer - Armed Real Estate Patrol in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you'll monitor and patrol commercial real estate properties to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and professionalism will provide reassurance to tenants and visitors, while you conduct routine patrols and respond to incidents as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, utilizing problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and/or any unusual circumstances according to company procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with tenants, visitors, and staff at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
