Our Armed Security Officers at a commercial real estate location conduct routine patrols and driving patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This armed role combines presence, professionalism, and integrity while working as part of a caring, agile, and reliable Allied Universal team focused on people-first service and security-related response.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, patients, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, parking areas, entrances, hallways, and perimeter access points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, deliveries, and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols, helping to support orderly operations within a healthcare-related location.
- Assist with de-escalation, escort duties, and other security-related support functions as needed, while maintaining professionalism and following Allied Universal standards and post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
