Security Officer - Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Real Estate Patrol in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional, providing a visible presence and conducting routine patrols within a bustling commercial real estate location. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents, support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service, and maintain open communication with property management. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the business premises and around the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe any unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide a sense of security-related reassurance for those on the property.
• Work closely with property management and/or staff to address site-specific security-related concerns and support daily operations.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Adhere to company and client policies regarding the handling and carrying of firearms, remaining alert to potential security-related threats.
• Assist law enforcement and emergency responders as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active armed guard card or armed guard license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
