Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Awareness Job in New Orleans, Louisiana

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Awareness in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
