As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will remain visible throughout the property, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for hotels and resorts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including guest areas, staff-only zones, and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a welcoming environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials as required.
• Assist with crowd management and help to deter disruptive behavior during events or busy periods.
• Work collaboratively with hotel and resort staff to address guest concerns and promote a positive experience for all visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
