Security Guard - Armed Arrestee Transport

As a Security Guard - Armed Arrestee Transport in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role requires carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. You will interact with the public, deliver exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying appropriate protocols for an armed patrol post.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any unusual circumstances according to established procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential threats.
• Interact professionally with the public, staff, and/or visitors while enforcing site-specific rules and regulations.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and site-specific protocols.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as directed by site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
