Join Allied Universal at a government location as an armed patrol professional in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and interact with the public and staff with professionalism. In this role, you will bring a caring, agile, and reliable approach while supporting daily operations through teamwork, communication, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns according to post orders.
- Support government facility operations by maintaining a professional presence, following all armed post directives, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation accurately and on time.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
