Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a cultural institution, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to each shift while working in a caring, agile, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and clear communication.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, gathering areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and/or observe visitor activity during daily operations, services, programs, and special events.
- Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines, and/or support law enforcement and first responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
