Security Officer - Corporate Office

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for shoppers and staff. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, with attention to unusual activity and security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues that could impact daily operations.
- Support loss prevention and store operations by helping to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
