Security Officer - Lobby Access Coordinator

As a Security Officer - Lobby Access Coordinator, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk officer at a professional financial institution location, where you will welcome visitors, monitor access, and support a polished, customer-focused experience. In this stationary role, you will help address security-related concerns through strong communication, attention to detail, and professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, employees, and vendors, verifying identification and/or access credentials, and following site-specific security-related procedures for a financial services location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, manage visitor sign-in processes, issue temporary access materials when appropriate, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity in accordance with site policies.
- Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, building personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Answer phones and assist with inquiries, help to direct authorized individuals to the appropriate destination, and support daily front desk operations with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Observe the front desk area and surrounding entrance points for security-related concerns, help to deter unauthorized access, and report maintenance, access control, and/or incident-related issues promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
