Security Officer Part Time Patrol Response

- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and emergency response support when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel property, including lobbies, hallways, guest-facing areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with attention to unusual activity and property conditions.
- Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity, assist with directional guidance, and support a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Support security-related operations by reporting maintenance concerns, disturbances, and policy-related issues, while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
