Security Officer - Patrol Team Member

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies for a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, document daily activities and incidents, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate contacts.
- Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with building procedures, and providing clear directions to occupants and/or visitors during urgent situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
