Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of site conditions, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with Allied Universal standards and client guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
