Security Officer Residential Patrol Officer

As a Security Officer Residential Building Patrol Officer in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, report maintenance or life-related hazards, and communicate unusual conditions to property management and/or designated contacts.
- Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, answering routine questions, and helping to address tenant and guest concerns in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
