As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for everyone. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide excellent customer service while responding to any incidents or requests for assistance. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment at the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious circumstances, property damage, or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure and welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and authorized areas as outlined in site policies.
• Complete all required documentation, incident reports, and logs accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
