Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role offers the chance to support access awareness, respond to site needs, and communicate with professionalism while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor customer and employee activity, observe for policy violations, and communicate with store leadership regarding security-related concerns and/or suspicious behavior.
- Support access control and closing procedures, assist with crowd and line monitoring during busy periods, and complete required logs, reports, and/or other documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
