As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities or access.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel, while assisting healthcare staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Support access control procedures by verifying identifications and/or credentials as required by site-specific protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients, patients, staff, and visitors to provide a visible Allied Universal presence and support a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
