Security Officer Credential Verification

Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, verify badges, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols. - Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and document visitor activity to help support authorized access throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of access points, restricted areas, and other security-related concerns.
- Prepare clear reports on daily activities, incidents, and access control issues, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
