Security Officer - Financial Dispatch Specialist

As a Security Officer - Financial Dispatch Specialist in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting security-related operations within a financial institution environment. You will monitor activity, coordinate communication, and respond to incidents, helping to deter potential issues while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and/or resources as needed within the financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site teams and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, dispatch activities, and communications according to site-specific policies and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client management.
• Provide customer service by answering inquiries, directing visitors, and facilitating communication between staff, visitors, and security-related personnel.
• Assist in monitoring surveillance equipment and/or alarm systems to help to deter unauthorized activities within the location.
• Maintain logs and records of dispatch calls, incidents, and communications for review and compliance.
• Support Allied Universal security-related personnel by relaying information and updates during critical events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
