As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Rounds in Newark, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in and around the logistics and distribution location, reporting any unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, observations, and activities during patrols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to address any security-related concerns or needs as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
