As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in Newnan, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. By conducting routine patrols and engaging with staff and visitors, you will provide exceptional customer service while contributing to a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for irregularities.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report any concerns to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or site management.
• Support emergency response activities as required by the site, assisting with evacuations or other procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of activities, incidents, and observations during shifts.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and fellow Allied Universal team members while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
