Security Officer Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier commercial real estate office location. In this driving post, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial office location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, lobbies, and exterior areas, assisting with authorized entry, visitor direction, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
- Document observations, incidents, and daily activities in required reports, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal personnel, tenants, and property representatives regarding security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
