As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrol Unarmed in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an engaging presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, being highly visible throughout the location, and offering excellent customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report security-related irregularities, including suspicious activities or potential hazards, to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying credentials and monitoring entries and exits as required by site protocols.
• Support healthcare staff, visitors, and patients by providing directions and general assistance as needed.
• Complete required reports and documentation on all incidents, activities, and observations during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
