Security Officer Commercial Business Dispatch

As a Security Officer Dispatch Coordinator in Newtown Square, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional in a healthcare location, where you will help coordinate security-related communications, monitor activity, manage access-related information, and support on-site teams with professionalism and care. In this role, you will use technology, communication, and customer service skills to help support daily operations. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and other communication systems to receive calls for service, prioritize incidents, and relay information to security-related personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Coordinate the response of on-site personnel to routine issues, urgent situations, and critical incidents, helping to support timely communication between departments and/or first responders.
- Document incidents, service requests, and daily activity in dispatch logs and reports, maintaining accurate records of security-related communications and actions taken.
- Assist with access-related issues, visitor concerns, and other location needs by providing directions, answering questions, and escalating matters according to site-specific policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
