This primarily driving post involves remaining visible, monitoring assigned areas, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as required, and helping to maintain authorized access to designated areas.
• Support loss prevention efforts by being observant and reporting suspicious behavior or situations within the retail environment.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
