Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic automotive location, where you will monitor access points, perform routine patrols, and support security-related operations while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify security-related concerns and unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or vehicle movement in accordance with site procedures to help support orderly operations.
- Communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or local responders regarding incidents, access issues, and other security-related matters as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
