As a Security Officer Armed Lobby Clearance Required in North Charleston, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and communications location, you will greet and assist employees and visitors, manage access and visitor credentialing, and support badge and key control. You will monitor entry activity, document security-related events, and communicate clearly with site teams to help maintain an orderly, welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities for a tech-focused office location.
• Control access to the facility by welcoming and verifying employees, visitors, and vendors, issuing temporary credentials as directed, and maintaining visitor logs and required documentation.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control panels, and report unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or equipment issues through the established chain of communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with notifications, lobby control, and coordination with site contacts and/or emergency services as required.
• Complete routine administrative and post duties including incident documentation, shift activity reports, key and badge accountability, and supporting client staff with directions and general assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Maintain an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Have at least 1+ years' armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
