What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing access activities, and/or assisting with security-related inquiries for employees, visitors, and vendors.
- Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and visitor records, and/or help to deter unauthorized access in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Maintain detailed front desk logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Support a professional office environment at a technology-focused location by observing and reporting security-related concerns, providing direction to guests, and/or reinforcing established entry procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
