Security Patrol Driver Educational Facility Mobile Patrol Job in North Massapequa, New York

As a Security Patrol Driver Educational Facility Mobile Patrol in North Massapequa, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a public - school environment, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working collaboratively with school personnel and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, medical concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate school personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of school buildings, entrances, parking areas, athletic fields, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing visitors and maintaining awareness of authorized access.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
