Security Officer Unarmed - Property Access Job in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Property Access in North Myrtle Beach, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to residents and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the community, verify visitor and vendor entry in accordance with site-specific procedures, and document relevant activity.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when required.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
