Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while documenting security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or incidents according to site protocols.
- Support a professional environment by assisting with directions, visitor interactions, and de-escalation of tense situations while following Allied Universal standards and post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
