Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to banking clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking facility interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, ATMs, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting suspicious behavior or potential security-related concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
- Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow all applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures for the authorized carrying and handling of duty equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
