Security Officer Patrol Monitor

As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Oklahoma City, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of yards, parking areas, loading and unloading zones, gate areas, and perimeter locations, noting conditions that could impact daily operations.
- Monitor site access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, directing visitors, and following post orders for vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
- Support transportation operations by observing trailer, truck, and facility activity for irregularities and communicating security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
