Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coordinator

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coordinator in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role offers the chance to support access awareness, respond to site needs, and communicate with professionalism. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site policies, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with entry and exit activity, and following post orders for after-hours coverage, restricted areas, and/or special events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
