Security Officer - Access Control Monitor

As a Security Officer - Access Control Monitor in OMAHA, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol areas within a food and beverage location, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. You will perform routine patrols, remain visible throughout your assigned area, and provide outstanding customer service while interacting with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations as required for entry and exit.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence at access points.
• Follow all procedures related to the handling and protection of products and materials specific to food and beverage environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
