As a Security Officer Driver Gate Control in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment while communicating professionally with employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor registration, issue temporary badges, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts.
- Communicate clearly with site personnel, guests, and Allied Universal leadership while preparing timely incident reports and maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
