Security Officer Reception Console

As a Security Officer Reception Console in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location where you will welcome visitors, manage front desk activity, monitor access, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this stationary role, you will deliver strong customer service, use technology to document activity, and help create a smooth experience through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, vendors, and drivers, and assist with access control, visitor processing, and badge verification in line with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Maintain awareness of incoming and outgoing traffic near the reception area, help to deter unauthorized access, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
- Complete logs, incident reports, and other required documentation related to deliveries, visitor arrivals, and security-related events.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
