Security Officer Access Systems Monitor Job in Ontario, California

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a healthcare location, where you will help manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to healthcare facility personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
- Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Help to deter unauthorized entry by monitoring entry points, reviewing access activity, and reporting suspicious or unusual conditions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
