Security Officer Driver Job in Ontario, California

As a Security Officer Driver in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting incidents and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Document observations, patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
