Security Officer Entry Control

As a Security Officer Entry Control in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail distribution location as an Access Control Officer. In this driving post, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and manage visitor and vendor access to help support authorized access throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Document daily activity, access exceptions, and security-related incidents in required logs and reports with attention to detail.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, receiving areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
