As a Security Guard - Aero Front Desk Full Time in Opa Locka, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk professional in an aero and defense location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and managing access to the facility. You will provide exceptional customer service, monitor entry points, and assist with security-related procedures to help to deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies for an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills and following established emergency response protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of visitor and contractor activity, including sign-in and sign-out procedures, in accordance with site guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns or unusual activity at the front desk.
• Assist in the implementation of site-specific protocols and directives as required, adapting to the unique needs of an aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or security license is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
