As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff in a retail mall environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular foot patrols, remaining visible throughout the location, and assisting with security-related issues as they arise. You will also deliver exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and supporting the needs of visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Interact with visitors, employees, and vendors in a courteous manner, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
• Document incidents and maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Support the enforcement of property rules, regulations, and policies to help to deter prohibited activities within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
